I am personally inviting all of you to come out for a free diner and class gathering on Monday, November 24 at 5:30pm in Crop Science Room 116-117. At this gathering we will also have our Open Meeting. This is a chance for you guys to see what your exec has been working on throughout the year and what is to come. It is also your chance to provide any input whether it be about the exec, upcoming events, clothing, etc. We would really appreciate your input and ideas! Tractor Tug For Tots Results

After a chilly day of fundraising the 3rd annual Tractor Tug for Tots raised more than $10 000 for the Starlight Children's Foundation. Prizes were given out for the fastest teams, best dressed and top fundraisers: 1st - Plant Agriculture Grad Students 2nd - Elmira John Deere Dealership 3rd - OAC Class of 2009 Bison #2 Top Fundraiser - The Sperm Guys from Animal and Poultry Science Dept. ($1330) Best Dressed - Beauty and Brawn Thank you to everyone who came out and we'll see you next year!
 
World Association of Agricultural Councils

Plans are well underway for the 2009 World Association of Agricultural Councils (WAAC) at the University of Saskatchewan, March 10-15. This year, SFOAC will once again co-ordinate a 12-14 person delegation to the WAAC conference in Saskatoon. WAAC provides an opportunity for students to network and share ideas with students and industry professionals from around the world. Please complete the attached application if you are interested in attending. We are attempting to keep the cost under $400/person, through sponsorships, and donations. This cost per student would include transportation, registration, accomodation, and most meals.
