Attention OAC!! It is time for SFOAC's Winter Semester Open Meeting! It will be held this Tuesday, March 2nd in Thorn 1307 at 5:30pm. Come on out to see what your student government has been up to over the past semester and get some free supper!! There will also be candidate speeches for people running for SFOAC next year.

This weeks pub is in the Keg and it only costs two dollars! The proceeds will be going towards Guelph Wellington Special Olympics Charity so come on out for a good cause!
 
Mud/Snow Cup

On Wednesday, Feb. 24th, there will be Mud/Snow Cup starting for the entire OAC hosted by the 2012 Falcons! It will start with touch football and on March 3rd it will be Capture the Flag. Both will be held on Johnston Green. Come on out and show your proud OAC spirit and have some fun while doing it!!!
 
OAC CHALLENGE

This week is your chance to put your name forward to be on your class or program team for OAC CHALLENGE!! Below is the schedule of events with an explanation as to what is happening. We are hoping to get a team from the 10s, 11s, 12s, 13s, Turf, Animal Bio, ESSE and LASS. OAC CHALLENGE - March 10/10 8:30-9:30 - Debate 1 9:30-10:30 - Debate 2 10:30-11:30 - Debate 3 11:30 - 12:30 - Debate 4 12:30-1:30 - Lunch in the Aggie Lounge for all teams (pizza and pop, etc) 1:30-3:00 - Case Study Problem Solving 3:00- 4:30 - Judges time to mark 4:30-5:00 - Awards and Remarks from Judges Each team will be debating against only one other team. Once the debate is over, you may leave until lunchtime if you so choose. Lunch is free and will be provided to every participant in the Aggie Lounge. The Case Study will be completed by every team at the same time. You will each be given a room to work in, isolated from everyone else, in which you are able to work for the 1.5 hrs. The Judges will have 1.5 hours to complete the marking and we will award prizes and give out remarks at 4:30. The debate topic will be released to the team within two days of the competition, along with proper debate etiquette and technique. For the case study, the team will have to pick one of three topics with which to solve the problem for. Valedictorian and Permanent Exec

The Nominations for your permanent executive have been extended to this Friday March 5th at 4:30pm. If you would like to be on your executive, make sure you get your name in this week Also, nominations for Valedictorian are also open this week and will close on Friday as well. If you think you know someone who would be a great valedictorian for your class then nominate them this week. You can use the same ballots for valedictorian as you would to nominate someone for permanent exec, just change the position name to valedictorian.
