The OAC Job Shadow Program needs you! There is a position open for a peer helper to join the OAC Job Shadow Program. If you have not have not heard about the OAC Job Shadow program, you can think of it this way – its “Take your Kid to Work Day but you aren’t going to work with your parents”. However, the OAC Job Shadow Program is not limited to shadowing professionals in the agriculture field, it also includes the OAC Job Fair and OAC Networking Breakfast. NEW for the 2008-2009 school year we will be having cover letter & resume writing workshops to help student reach their ultimate employment goals. If you would like to participate in the OAC Job Shadow program go to the Career Services Website and click on the JOB SHADOW link to get a form to go on a job shadow. If you are interesting in joining the OAC Job Shadow Program as a peer helper, we currently have a position open for the 2008-2009 school year. The time commitment is approximately 5 hours per week, a modest honorarium, a notation on your transcript and contacts with professionals in the agriculture industry.
